The Finer Points of Maintaining a Blog

Six days after starting this project, the finer points of setting it up as a blog are finally falling into place.

Individual pages are accessible from the “Pages” widget over there on the side. I wish I had understood that six days ago. The nice machinery at ClustrMaps must be going nuts over the number of changes that have happened here without advancing any consistent order or sequence.

But at least it’s all clear now, and the frustrations of organization are a thing of the past, (as should be the very topic of this project).

It even makes sense once it’s seen in context: the front page (this one) is unnumbered and is intended for posts and updates, while subsequent pages allow the laying out of details. Each page has its own comments section and is calculated individually by the program that collects and analyses statistics. The ClustrMaps widget keeps its own stats and updates them in its own good time.
