Disheartening News

The Auschwitz Concentration Camp, in its disguise as a modern day Museum, continues most assiduously to advance the work of one of its founders, Dr Josef Mengele – the very work it pretends to despise and decry.

The saddest part of all of this is that the original artworks in question are never seen by the public. They, like any valuable asset, are kept locked away, hidden from public view, presumably safe from the threat of any ethical obligation to return them to the hands of their creator. They would generate the same income for the Museum in Dina Babbitt’s possession, as they do locked away in a vault.

Dina Babbitt’s health is not improving. The latest news comes from her daughter Karin, who lives in California and handles Dina’s web site It was posted in a message to members of the Facebook Group “Return Dina Babbitt’s Paintings”

If you have a Facebook account, please consider joining that group as a show of solidarity with Dina Babbitt, even though you might well ask yourself, “What would the Polish government ever know about Solidarity?”

I hope followers of this blog will read the page associated with this post, and will take a moment to consider what this lady has endured and why it should be important to anyone with a mother, or children of their own.
